Waste-Derived Catalysts for Carbon Capture, Biodiesel & Biomass Valorization

Project overview

Multi-output research programme converting agricultural and industrial wastes into catalysts and fuels. 2026 book chapters in Waste Derived Catalysts: • CO₂ capture waste-derived catalysts for carbon capture and utilization (pp. 245–262) • Agro-waste-derived catalysts: a sustainable approach (pp. 109–131) • Waste-derived catalysts for waste treatment and valorization (pp. 311–326) 2025 journal outputs include biodiesel from Cupressus macrocarpa waste seed oil (Next Energy), Quercus baloot seed oil (Next Research), and Raphanus sativus seed oil (Biofuels) using green-synthesized nanocatalysts.
